1. Why did you choose to work at Transputec?
I chose to apply to work at Transputec because of its proven high standard of practice in the technology industry as well as due to its’ company values and goals which align with my own.
2. Why did you choose your job role?
I chose to work as a digital marketing intern as it was a good opportunity to apply my academic background while as broadening my skillset and gaining insight into a new field.
3. What is it like working as an apprentice/intern?
Working as an intern provided me with the opportunity to gain practical experience and explore different aspects of marketing, working on many different projects ranging from blog writing to social media growth ultimately aiming to improve SEO.
I worked alongside a diverse team and with senior colleagues, which allowed me to gain an understanding of the business beyond the marketing department and to understand the company-wide implications, gaining insights into the developments in the tech industry and the importance of adaptability to long-term success.
I found that the fast-paced work environment and dynamic conditions allowed for a more thorough and quicker development of my skills, making this experience all the more enjoyable.
4. What is your advice for future apprentices/interns?
I would recommend this internship programme and a piece of advice that I would give future interns is that you should always be proactive, be open to learning new things and always ask as many questions as needed.
