During my time working on Transputec’s ESG reporting and GHG accounting frameworks, I had the opportunity to contribute to the foundational work that will shape our emissions inventory. This experience has been incredibly rewarding as it allowed me to not only understand but also actively participate in creating a methodology that will meet stakeholder expectations while enhancing the efficiency of our resource utilization in delivering our products and services.

A significant part of my role involved researching and identifying common methodologies, tools, and frameworks used by leading companies in their ESG and Climate reports. I thoroughly enjoyed analyzing industry standards and best practices, which helped guide the development of our own approach. This process not only expanded my understanding of ESG reporting but also highlighted how companies are addressing climate-related challenges on a global scale.

In addition, I worked on evaluating several certification-score institutions to help us improve our ESG disclosure. This was an eye-opening experience as I learned how different institutions assess and validate ESG practices, and it allowed me to identify the best practices that would align with our own ESG goals. The insights gained from this analysis have been invaluable in shaping how we’ll approach future reporting and certification efforts.

Overall, my experience in this program has been both educational and impactful. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of ESG frameworks and climate reporting, and I’m excited to continue contributing to Transputec’s sustainability efforts as we lay the groundwork for a more efficient and transparent future.
