Digital Lockers -in Action
REQUEST
User(s) request device via Client Service Desk. Client Service Desk requests Transputec Services to identify and release available device in local locker/vending machine to specific user.
COMMUNICATE
Transputec Services updates ITAM/ITSM ticket and contacts user with release code for local locker/vending machine. Release codes are time limited.
VEND
User approaches locker/vending machine and inputs release code. Locker will automatically open the appropriate locker. Vending machine will despatch the appropriate item.
RECORD
Transputec Service Desks updates ITAM/ITSM of successful collection and records asset serial number/tag.
REPLENISH
Transputec Service Desk initiates replenishment in next scheduled visit via ITAM/ITSM ticket. Once replenished Transputec Service Desk updates ITAM/ITSM.
