Excel Security Ltd supplies a national locksmith and boarding up service that ranges from a rapid response lock out to a booked in maintenance visit. It has a team of qualified locksmiths and carpenters strategically located throughout the country to provide a speedy response 24 hours 365 days a year. Since launching in 2002, Excel Security’s operation and customer base has continued to expand and they now complete thousands of locksmith jobs per year for domestic, insurance, utility and commercial customers.
The Challenges
With job orders coming in thick and fast, Excel Security’s system for raising orders had become slow and labour intensive and was prone to error and duplication. The process required multiple data entry, and didn’t provide a single overview of the business data. It had become somewhat error prone and resulted in duplication. They required a streamlined, efficient online task management system that could be used on Android, Iox (Apple) and accessed by engineers attending sites across the country via a mobile App.
