Blockspace Group Limited is a hub for digital ventures, providing a foundation for collaborative digital services across multiple partners and services. Their digitalfrontier.com website focuses on tech-focused media and events that step beyond the daily news cycle to produce deeply reported stories on the future of business, finance, and culture. 

The Challenge

Blockspace transitioned to Transputec’s managed service, revealing manual device deployment processes and lack of standardisation. Devices had basic configurations, with users creating local admin accounts. M365 access used basic RBAC, with inconsistent role assignments. The absence of centralised management highlighted the need for standardised processes in identity, device, and security management to create a more uniform IT environment.

Our Approach

Transputec implemented comprehensive Identity & Access Management using Microsoft Entra ID, integrating with Apple Business Manager and enabling Single Sign On for macOS. They deployed Microsoft Intune for device management of the company and BYOD devices. 

The Outcome

Integration with Apple Business Manager streamlined macOS management, while Windows devices benefited from Autopilot profiles and enhanced security features.
